This is a quick way to have "salisbury steak" |
approximately 1 cup of commercial bread crumbs 1 egg salt and pepper to taste chopped onions or onion powder to taste approximately 1/4 cup katsup 1 can beef gravy |

Mix all the ingredients except the gravy mix together in a bowl. Shape the meat mixture into plump hamburger-like patties and brown evenly on both sides. Pour in the canned gravy mix and allow to simmer for about 1 hour. . |
